Test on a real file

Open your own PSD, DOCX or DWG and check what matters to you: layers, tracked changes, external references. That test decides the switch, not a feature list.

Asset URLs follow the naming convention published in each upstream release ({app}-{version}-{platform}.ext). A broken link means a new version has replaced it — the “Release ↗” column always lands on the newest published set. The table shows the builds most people want; each app page lists the rest of the set — rpm and flatpak, 32-bit Windows, riscv64, the FreeBSD tarball, and the command-line and browser builds that ship alongside the installer.

Build it from source instead

Each repository is public under Apache-2.0. Clone it, install a current Rust toolchain, and follow the repository's own README for workspace layout and pinned versions — several apps need their supporting crates from craft-libs and ship their own release workflow.
