In the maintainer's words
“FigCraft: interface design and prototyping; an open-source, clean-room reimplementation of collaborative design workflows in pure Rust”— repository description, github.com/storytold/figcraft
These are the workflow areas the project targets. Implementation status changes release to release — confirm against the repository before relying on a specific behaviour.
Summarised from the release notes upstream published on 2026-10-18. Read the full list on the FigCraft v0.7.0 release page ↗.
FigCraft is distributed by its own maintainers through GitHub releases. Nothing here is re-hosted, mirrored or repackaged, which is exactly why these links stay current when a new build lands.
FigCraft v0.7.0 · upstream GitHub releases
Files are served by GitHub from the upstream repository — this project is not distributed through this site. Verify the download against SHA256SUMS.txt in the same release.

The repository carries the licence text, issue tracker and release notes. Apache-2.0 permits commercial use, modification and redistribution with attribution notices preserved. If you prefer to compile it yourself, clone the repo and follow its README for the pinned Rust toolchain.
The gap is multiplayer and handoff, not drawing. Evaluate it against your own workflow: if you live in comments, dev-mode links and third-party plugins, budget for those losses.
A companion build in the same GitHub release — figcraft-server tarballs for Linux x86_64 and aarch64 — for running the collaborative side yourself. v0.7.0's fix that keeps each team library version in its own file lives on that side.
Do not assume it. Test on a real file, and keep the source available for reference while migrating.
